Learnlife Rwanda Publishing
Learnlife Rwanda is the publisher of a series of children’s books, collectively known as the Rwanda Village Tales. There are very few children’s stories based on Rwandan life experiences. The few that do exist are rarely, if ever, seen in a Rwandan school or community library. The Rwanda Village Tales are written in double page, dual language format: English and Kinyarwanda.
Each story is an authentic tale based on a person known to the author. The stories highlight positive human qualities and provide the readers or listeners (children and adults) with inspirational tales of people with whom they can identify.

The Lady Who Loves is the fourth story in the Rwanda Village Tales series. Each story is an authentic tale capturing an aspect of the everyday lives of people in Rwanda. The stories highlight the positive human qualities very evident in the people of Rwanda. This fourth story brings the amazing journey of Uwera alive. Uwera was born in a refugee camp in Uganda, before coming to Rwanda. Throughout her growing years, Uwera learnt how to deeply love people, showing hospitality and support in many different ways. Her tale demonstrates the capacity to care for people, no matter our circumstance. It is a story of resilience, hope and deep love.
A fifth book is under current production and due for release later in 2025 - The Kid Who Drew. It is the life journey of Dolph Banza, the illustrator of all the Rwanda Village Tales.
